Metapost: Crispy Gamer launches; GFL coming back Monday

I'm happy to announce that Crispy Gamer, the new home of Games For Lunch, has finally launched! The revamped Games for Lunch column will show up there on Monday and run every weekday thereafter for ever (and ever and ever and ever...)

In the meantime, check out editor-in-chief John Keefer's introductory letter to find out why the site is so special. You know, as if the inclusion of GFL wasn't sign enough ...

Update: EIC John Keefer asked me to note that the site is still in beta and undergoing quality assurance and testing. Comments are welcome and can be directed to jkeefer@crispygamer.com.

Does the new site have any RSS feeds (specifically for the GFL portion, though I'm curious about the rest as well)? Maybe I'm just missing them, but I don't see any.

I'm told RSS feeds are in the works for the site, though I have no idea when they'll be ready. In the meantime, I'm looking into temporary RSS solutions for feedburner subscribers. Anyone with ideas, please comment or e-mail me.

I second the request for RSS. And can I make a suggestion? Whenever it gets worked out, post about it here as well as there?

Without a feed I think a lot of people will be very unlikely to remember to check it.

Sweet! I've missed reading your posts, even though I'm not a gamer (I do try one out every couple of years :D), I do love the way you write; I enjoy the sarcasm, the pithy comments and the humour. The daily post makes for good coffee break material :)

And while that little experiment you did in between, where you got other people to post their reviews, was ok for that short while, I have to admit that I'd be a regular reader only if you were the one posting.
